RIHOP'S VISION*
-Loving Jesus, serving Metro-Richmond thru 24/7 prayer
-What is RIHOP? It is a day and night community based ministry dedicated to prayer (intercession, worship, healing, prophesying etc.) and fasting (covering 365 days) for transformation of the metro-Richmond area and the nations unto the return of the Lord Jesus.
Our work includes:
-Loving Jesus: fostering a sustained environment of encountering Jesus.
-Prayer/fasting: equipping musicians, singers, intercessors (marketplace, moms, dads, students, etc.) unto a lifestyle of prayer and fasting.
-Transformation: serving with the local Body of Christ unto the advancement of the Kingdom thru prayer (asking for God's justice to make the wrong things right), evangelism and mercy deeds.

We also host daily/weekly worship and intercession watches (music ministry), thru which we minister both to God and our community.

- I have been involved with RIHOP since March, 2010 when the Lord called me back from Hawaii/Nepal and India. Since joining the family of Urban Missionaries, God has awakened me to His call as an intercessor and prayer warrior. He has taught me (and I still learn new things EVERY day!) that prayer is the very HEART of His ministry (just read about the THOUSANDS of praying warriors and musicians King David hired full-time to usher in God's presence to the kingdom).He has called me to live a life purified and set apart from the "legitimate pleasures" of my generation to sit before His feet and pray back to Him the desires that burn deepest within Him.He is truly transforming not only a community, but a generation that will be used by Him to usher in His Son.
